Scientific Statements

Deep penetration of infrared heat (approximately 3–4 cm into fat tissue and neuromuscular system) with mild temperature (35–50°C), and light humidity (25–35%) during Infra Red Sauna bathing is favourable for the neuromuscular system to recover from any sports training. Infra Red Sauna bathing is a very light loading for the body and provides a comfortable and relaxing experience (Mero et al., 2015).

Infra red sauna has been proven to improve comfort, pain scores and stiffness in patients by up to 60% with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis (Oosterveld et al., 2009)
