Usage is only permitted to clients with prior permission.  The client agrees to comply with all rules and regulations made by Honington Grange in connection with the facilities or services, whether these rules and regulations be printed on notices, on the website, on the disclaimer or as instructed by a member of staff. Failure to do so may result in termination of the booking and the client(s) may be asked to leave.

Clients must feel fit and well prior to undertaking use of the any facilities and for anyone on medication or have any medical condition it is recommended that they consult a doctor prior to use.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENT

Certain treatment / therapy sessions and courses require full payment before commencement therefore please check payment schedule at the time of booking.

We are pleased to accept payment by BACS or Credit/Debit card.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS

If a change or cancellation is requested less than 24 hours before the appointed time we reserve the right to charge 100% of the total price. Any notification of cancellation must be given at least 24 hours before a scheduled appointment. Any missed appointments will also be charged in full. Should you wish to change your appointment for any reason we will endeavour to fit you in at a time convenient for you.

If you are unable to attend a session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please contact us immediately so your session(s) can be rescheduled. 

If treatments have been block-booked and paid in advance or a call off package has been set up there will be no refunds for unused treatments within the closing date. If you do not arrive for your appointment without prior notice (24 hours) we will deduct this treatment from the block.

Honington Grange Management reserve the right on certain occasions due to unforeseen circumstances to cancel sessions at short notice. In these cases, it may be necessary to re-schedule or rearrange a session. This will always be done having provided as much notice as is possible and practicable.

When applicable according to law, we offer refunds within a 14 day period. After this date, purchases and vouchers are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed, whenever possible, within a maximum of thirty (30) days.

In cases of unforeseen circumstances, transfer of sessions, refunds or partial refunds may be considered at the discretion of Honington Grange Management and therefore there can be no guarantee that any refund will be provided.

EXPIRY AND CLOSING DATE OF PURCHASES

Block of treatments, packages and gift vouchers have a closing date of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Single treatment purchases have a closing date of six (6) months from the date of purchase.

Expiry dates may be extended or purchases transferred in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Honington Grange Management.

MINIMUM AGE

Parental accompaniment and consent is required for any therapy or treatment provided to anyone under the age of 18.

Please check at the time of booking with your therapist.

RISKS AND OUTCOMES

Treatments and therapies can have benefits as well as risks which will be discussed with your therapist.  Individual results and outcomes may vary and there are no guarantees of what you will achieve.  It is recommended that you undertake sessions regularly to experience full benefits.

If you have any questions or doubts regarding your current medical condition(s) or any allergies please consult your doctor before use. None of our treatments offered provides or serves as a cure or treatment for any disease or condition. This is neither implied nor should be inferred.

In the rare event that you experience an allergic reaction, pain and/or discomfort while undergoing any treatment you must immediately discontinue your use and/or seek assistance.

DURATION OF SESSIONS AND THERAPY

The therapy / treatment session may be for an agreed length of time and will last a predetermined number of minutes.  Additional time can be given at the end if you are late for the session only at the sole discretion of the Honington Grange therapists.

TERMINATION OF SERVICES

HG Wellness and Rehabilitation may terminate any provided service, treatment session or therapy immediately in the event you breach any of these terms and conditions or in the event of any unpaid, overdue or outstanding sums due.

SAFETY CHECKS

All treatment rooms receive regular safety inspections by appropriately qualified engineers to ensure that the electrical installation and electrical appliances are in safe working order. If you require further details, please contact Reception who will be happy to assist.

Should you have any concerns regarding the safety of any item of equipment, please contact Reception immediately.

SMOKING POLICY

Please remember that you are in the countryside. In order to minimise the risk of outbreak of fire there are a number of important measures to remember:

·         Honington Grange operates a strict ‘No Smoking Policy’.

·         Designated area for smoking is at the ‘Fire Assembly Point’

·         Smoking is not permitted anywhere else on site.

·         Dispose of matches and cigarettes carefully and only in the smoking bin provided.

Smoking includes the use of electronic cigarettes or vaping.

Please note that any violation of this policy may result in you being asked to leave the premises.

FIRE ACTION

Smoke detectors are provided for your safety and must not be disabled.

If you discover a fire:

·         Raise the alarm

·         If safe to do so, tackle a small fire with the fire extinguisher provided. Do not put yourself at risk.

·         Evacuate the property and alert Reception if possible.

·         Do not stop to collect belongings.

·         If this has not occurred already, report the fire to Reception by the nearest phone.

·         Go immediately to the fire assembly point and await further instructions.

·         Do not return to the building unless authorised to do so.

This is located at the entrance to the Honington Grange Car Park.

FIRE EXITS

Please note where fire exits are located in the building and ensure that these are not blocked during your use of the premises.

FIRE ALARM

We will confirm in advance if any fire drills are programmed during your session.

Please treat any fire alarm as live and accurate unless you are notified to the contrary.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

If you have contacted the emergency services directly, please inform Reception of the situation. This will assist us and prevent any delay to the emergency services finding you.

DANGEROUS ITEMS

You may not bring or use any fireworks (including sparklers), shotguns, knives, firearms, air weapons, archery equipment, illegal substances or similar items under any circumstances.

SECURITY  

Your personal belongings are your own responsibility during your visit. Do not leave property unattended or unsecured.

Always lock your car with valuables removed.

Honington Grange can take no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items or vehicles.

LOST PROPERTY

Clients will be notified of any items found to be left after their session.  All items will be kept for a maximum of two months.  Postal charges will be payable to return goods left to their owner.

OUT OF BOUNDS AREAS

Please note that during your appointment, anywhere outside the immediate Wellness Centre is strictly out of bounds.

PETS

Please ensure that you do not bring pets on the premises or leave in parked cars.

PARKING

Please ensure that you park only in allocated areas.

Honington Grange can accept no responsibility for damage or theft whilst on the premises.

PRIVACY POLICY

Honington Grange are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of the personal information held of our client’s and potential client’s bookings and enquiries.

Information that is provided to us regarding your booking or potential booking is used to enable your booking or enquiry to be completed, for statistical purposes, to complete customer services queries and for marketing purposes. Honington Grange is monitored by CCTV for safety and security reasons only.  All data images are stored safely and securely and are never sold, viewed, shared or passed on to any third party at any time.

Your details are shared with our credit/debit card provider only for the purpose of booking or security deposit payments only.  Otherwise we never pass on, share or sell client or potential client information to any third party at any time.

BREACH OF CONTRACT

If there is a breach of any of these clauses by the clients or any of their party, Honington Grange reserves the right to end their visit and ask the clients and their party to leave immediately.

You will be required to sign a disclaimer before the commencement of any treatments, service or use of facilities. It is your responsibility to ensure that this disclaimer is thoroughly read and understood before signing and prior to commencing any treatment, service or use of facilities.

Neither Honington Grange or any persons acting on behalf of the establishment, accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to any clients, visitors or any other persons, or property whatsoever.

EQUINE REHABILITATION CENTRE FACILITIES

(Equine Aqua Treadmill, Activo-Med Pulsed Electromagnetic and Massage Therapy, Combi Floor, FMBS Dead Sea Salt & Oxygen Therapy, Spectravet Therapeutic Laser, Zamar Machine, Livery & Fitness Rehabilitation)

Treatment is only permitted with clients prior permission.  The client agrees to comply with all rules and regulations made by Honington Grange in connection with the facilities or services, whether these rules and regulations be printed on notices, on the website, on the disclaimer or as instructed by a member of staff. Failure to do so may result in termination of the booking and the client(s) may be asked to leave.

If you are not the owner of the horse(s), by making a booking you confirm that you are authorised by the owner(s) to accept these Terms & Conditions on their behalf.

Horses must be free from infection and disease prior to undertaking use of any of the facilities or treatments and do so at their owners risk and any health issues or injuries must be disclosed to Honington Grange prior to treatment.  It is recommended that you consult your vet prior to the commencement of any treatment(s).

The owner is responsible for ensuring their own insurance company is aware of any treatment(s) the horse(s) are receiving and any subsequent claims.

HEALTH & SAFETY ON SITE

All persons entering the treatment areas enter at their own risk and must be dressed appropriately and wearing personal protective equipment including sturdy non-slip footwear.

Anybody who does not wear personal protective clothing does so at their own risk.

​Any horse in the centre deemed by staff as a risk to health and safety of personnel will have their treatment postponed and asked to leave until the treatment can be carried out safely. Full payment of the session will be applicable. Honington Grange will then discuss with the owner regarding management needed in order to proceed with further treatments.

Any horse presenting with abnormal signs of possible illness eg raised temperature, abnormal nasal discharge, inflamed glands etc. will not be permitted to receive treatments unless Honington Grange receives authorisation from a vet.

Copies of passports and evidence of up-to-date vaccinations are required upon booking and passports will be checked on arrival.

If your horse develops an infectious or contagious condition during its course of treatment at Honington Grange you must inform us as soon as possible.

Please inform us of any behavioural problems or vices in advance.

Please ensure that your horse is properly shod. Damage caused to equipment by broken/loose shoes or shoe fixings will be charged accordingly.

All horses must be clean on attending the water treadmill.  Hooves, legs/belly must be washed.   Horses must arrive with their tails appropriately bandaged. Legs and hooves will be re-washed on site.

No horses with cuts or abrasions on the legs will be permitted for treatment on the water treadmill and no re-funds for sessions missed due to these conditions will be made except for exceptional circumstances and at the proprietors discretion.

All horses must wear a bridle / headslip / chifney for their first hydrotherapy session to ensure health and safety for horse and handler is maximized.

In the event that a horse requires sedation prior to any treatment, the owner must take responsibility and contact their vet to arrange and inform Honington Grange.

If any horse(s) require urgent medical attention, if the owner cannot be contacted, Honington Grange will take whatever veterinary steps are required and the owner will be liable for all resulting costs.
